Feeling Fallish

If I could manage more than one or two blogs per season then this wouldn't be quite such a production on my part... what was that username? Is this font color "fallish"?

We are forging ahead to fall, the true "new year's celebration" for teachers.

We ended summer with some family celebrations.
August was a fabulous month with Kristen graduating from UNH with her Masters Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences, plus a few extra certificates in Augmentative Communication and Occupational Therapy. Not to mention an impressive Thesis! Thirteen women were "hooded" and touted as talented and well educated. Of this we are certain. We are so proud of her hard work and dedication.

Just a few weeks later we hosted a bridal brunch for her and Josh, to celebrate the impending nuptials. Do folks still say "impending nuptials"?

And after the shower festivities Patrick and Kate announced their wonderful good news... Baby Doran will be arriving in March 2008...

In time to meet cousin Baby Wallbillich who will arrive in time for Kristen and Josh's wedding! oh my. Patrick and Kate will be north for those celebrations in October.

So, forging ahead to fall... yet I have somehow mysteriously changed font colors and nearly lost my mind posting photos.

PreK at Douglas Public has begun. LEAP on... (lets eat apple pie)
