Rev. Pam Smith Paquette, ERYT, YACEP, EMT, BS, MDIV
Pam Smith Paquette is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor from Kind Yoga school. Pam has enjoyed practicing yoga for over 7 years. She enjoys teaching gentle to moderate Hatha yoga, chair yoga, Yin and Laughter yoga at the Gleason Family YMCA and the Councils on Aging of local towns. Experiencing yoga has encouraged Pam to have a closer relationship with God. Prayer, meditation, reading the Bible, song and attending church are important to Pam’s continued faith development. Over the years, Pam has come to know Jesus Christ as her savior. Pam lives with her supportive husband Paul on Cape Cod. Pam is a certified Water Aerobics Instructor teaching for the Gleason Family YMCA. Pam has associates and bachelors degrees in recreation as well as a Masters is Pastoral Ministry and Masters of Divinity. As lead pastor at First United Methodist Church in Peabody, Pam specialized in church and faith development. While at Old South United Methodist Church in Reading as associate pastor, Pam specialized in youth and family ministry. Pam also has 3 years experience in youth ministry. Pam became an Emergency Medical Technician in 1982 and a Paramedic in 1988. Pam has worked with private ambulance companies and volunteered with the Red Cross participating in first aid stations at events like the Boston Marathon. Pam's undergrad degrees are in Recreation where Pam learned about leading recreational activities with safety and consideration of individual limitations.
